The real winner are the lawyers

I think Amber's insurance covered like $5+ million of her legal fees. I'd imagine Depp paid his own out of pocket. The article says nothing about the settlement covering legal fees, just the insurance paying $1 million to Depp, which he says he will donate to charity. So Amber is basically out nothing, while Depp is out millions.

Hopefully they are both a lot less crazy in the future.
