I doubt they change their tune this Summer. But at the very least the Brad Pitt Formula One film has a significant theatrical commitment.
Now what exactly "significant theatrical commitment" is, is not clarified, it may be satisifed with an IMAX/PLF only release. But I don't think there's a set start date yet.
The next Skydance Animation film definitely needs to try a standard theatrical release.
On paper Argylle, The Gorge (going into production) and the George Clooney Jon Watts Movie (in production) could do well.
Theatres are going to be desparate in Q3 2023 so there's room there and there's definitely room in 2023.
Hard to tell with how mercurial the streamers are, but I would imagine Apple will just wait and see how Paramount's handling of KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON pans out before they seriously consider radically changing their theatrical plans unless Amazon's MGM totally goes on a tear and has one smash after another (I'm still leaning towards AIR [JORDAN] doing moderate, unspectacular biz)
