DOG (C+) BIG DOOR PRIZE (B)
I appreciate that DOG is a little more rough around the edges than typical for what was marketed as a typical guy and a troublemaking dog family film, but it definitely could have used more than a little trimming (and has some really odd detours).
I am kind of shocked that BIG DOOR PRIZE scored a 2nd season renewal because other than incessant Twitter ads I've seen nothing about it anywhere else, I guess they are hoping it turns into a light sci-fi Schitts Creek (some of the behind the scenes talent is from that). Interesting as a series long examination of a typical Twilight Zone premise.
