Years ago, I remember the elderly Nicholas Winton being surprised on a TV appearance, when he hadn't realised that it was all a set up and that the whole audience was really only there for him, to thank him! It was a gathering of the children he saved and their desendents, a bit like the transition to the modern day crowd of survivors seen at the end of Schindler's List. I seem to recall he cried. A lot of other people certainly cried, both those who were just listening and those who told their stories of the families they had to leave behind when they were got out. It was very moving stuff! His whole story was very moving, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if the film does better than presumed. The only problem being, of course, that it wasn't an American story. But I certainly wish it hugely well!
