They’d have been much happier if viewership numbers were much higher because that’s probably the real reason. ;)

If "lack of creativity" were the reason for not doing 6 Underground 2, then one could argue hypocrisy for moving forward with Red Notice 2. Of course, sense of creativity is a matter of taste, but like I said, that's not what this is about. ;)

Stuber out at Netflix! Moviesnob Jan 22, 14:07

KNIV3 is probably safe, but doubtful on Bright 2, Red Notice 2, Gray Man 2, Rebel Moon 3... {nm} Antibody Jan 22, 14:11

I thought Bright 2 was dead a long time ago. lol {nm} Jay_Beezy Jan 22, 14:16

David Ayer told me another director was on it... but it still could be done. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Jan 22, 15:07

It's been over six years so the movie has already faded into the ether. {nm} Jay_Beezy Jan 22, 16:55

Red Notice is still Netflix's top performing film ever as of last week, only Don't Look Up is close. #2 seems pretty safe to me. notfabio Jan 22, 14:32

The Gray Man even though it's high up there, yeah, probably doesn't happen with OG cast anyway. Even Stuber didn't like TGM {nm} notfabio Jan 22, 14:34

Regarding Red Notice, maybe he’s thinking whoever takes over will have a different “creative” philosophy. ;) Jay_Beezy Jan 22, 14:37

Sarandos/etc have mentioned the library market has opened up to them and they are taking advantage, so likely scaling back to "sure things" {nm} notfabio Jan 22, 14:50

I was thinking more about the budget, which will likely exceed $250M. The blank check Era over. {nm} Antibody Jan 22, 14:52

They sure are keeping a low profile on the Russos Electric State which is similarly 200+ million budget. {nm} notfabio Jan 22, 15:05

And since that was filmed under Stuber, you think Antibody could be right? {nm} Jay_Beezy Jan 22, 16:58

I put “creative” in quotes because the lack thereof was the alleged reason for not doing 6 Underground 2. {nm} Jay_Beezy Jan 22, 15:09

Yeah Stuber was astoundingly blunt that they weren't happy with 6 Underground, Reynolds probably wasn't thrilled. {nm} notfabio Jan 22, 15:34

What the hell is "The Gray Man" ? {nm} goodvibe61 Jan 22, 15:00

Generic spy actioner from the Russo Bros. with RGOSL and CEVAN. {nm} Jay_Beezy Jan 22, 15:06

It was awesome. You shut up!!! :) {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Jan 22, 15:08

I remember you saying you liked Red Notice. I don’t have to listen to you. ;) {nm} Jay_Beezy Jan 22, 15:10

I wouldn;t say I *liked* Red Notice, the concept was fun, the execution terrible. {nm} notfabio Jan 22, 15:39

That reply wasn’t to you. ;) {nm} Jay_Beezy Jan 22, 15:58

Netflix is great. Everything they make is great. I haven't been paid to say that. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Jan 22, 19:59

i canceled my sub this month. coincidence? {nm} co-bro Jan 22, 14:12

Yes {nm} Moviesnob Jan 22, 14:27

losing you was the last straw {nm} tealfan Jan 22, 19:37

How is this story not anywhere on the front page of THR? {nm} Opener Fund Jan 22, 21:31

and they are in the wwe business {nm} dennkenn Jan 23, 16:05
