There are 9 films with more than 10 votes for nominations so some settling among those 9 but you're right no clear favorite yet

Its rare to have something like OPENHEIMER so ahead by the end of summer. Things tend to start becoming clearer after TIFF and most Gold Derby wont folks see BLITZ until NYFF

There are always some surprises for noms. There's one film way down the list that is gonna get a major awards push by its distributor
