DL: Simon Kinberg (who produced SW Rebels) will write and produce a new Star Wars trilogy that may or may not be Skywalker Saga sequels.

He actually was supposed to do a spin-off film back in 2013 that I'm presuming never happened. Kasdan's became Solo (I think?)

Actually Kinberg's film was the Boba Fett film that became Book of Boba Fett.

I give a better shot at this at least producing one film than a separate Rey film ever happening. Because Kinberg & Lucasfilm are close.

Yeah, later on they said their other sources said it won't. Rey "Skywalker" is probably how they are going to continue if they are.
