Exactly. What kind of an argument is that? If you love the movie Qix, by all means, go back again and again and give them your money.

obviously I have ZERO against people being able to work. 


Being able to make a strong, successful picture is extremely difficult. What's been seen over a long while now, is that these Sony and Marvel based properties don't translate into great movies, or good movies, or average movies. They are lousy movies. 

And as regards to Chandor: we're not talking about All is Lost, or Margin Call, or A Most Violent Year. That's not the subject. I wasn't commenting on whether i think Chandor is, as you put it, an "excellent director". We're talking about Kraven the Hunter, which is most definitely NOT a great movie, and it's NOT a great directed movie. 

Where's your empathy for the viewer; for the audience? Do you want everyone to go see what's not worth their time, to make sure all the people that worked on every picture get their due? 

And what's with the crumbing on the Muppets anyway? I can't believe that; it's NOT easy being green.

All 3 Venom movies were critical failures, but audience/BO hits. KRAVN will probably fail each of these yardsticks. I hope Sony perseveres. {nm} Qix Dec 14, 22:42
