Yes, it picks up the pace as it goes along. As a non-Tfrmer fan as a kid, there were several character evolutions that I was not expecting.
It may be common knowledge to others, but for me the he becomes '..' and he becomes '..' was new info and a cool way to finish the last few minutes.
