That's not the definition of "chuckage" though...
"chuckage" is when you make a trade but it doesn't go through at the price you made it... it goes through at the NEW price where the stock has moved to buy the time the trade goes through. What I'm seeing is that essentially one trade can cause fluctuation, which means that if five people short a stock, it moves down, but then it can be countered by six people buying, which push it back up... I wonder if that means we'll be seeing a lot more movement over the course of the day from daytrading rather than stocks going up one day and then down the next in an endless cycle.
