I feel that the adjustments are the publics shares of any given stock. In the HSX market we are hedging our bets as to what the actual value of a stock will be at a given point. Unlike the real market we have a "life cycle" to all stocks. This creates a few "price points" where the actual value (based on consumer input through ticket sales) can be, and needs to be calculated into the share price.
