I was gifted a spreadsheet a few years ago. it is time consuming, but I have been able to keep it updated. This is how I manage BONDS...
The spreadsheet has an EAP column. I have a tab where I paste in my current holdings. I use a second sheet to edit my holdings, so I eliminate the H$ and underlines from the portfolio. I enter the first 5 columns. It calculates the Value and net gain and loss on a the My Bonds TAB.
The main tab captures the data from My Bonds and (owned, long/short, profit or loss, and will show if the long/short disagrees with the correct way to hold it.
