they refuse to IPO somebody because they are signed to a series of blockbuster movies and it would be free money. They seem to worry more about the free money then if the StarBond is a good IPO.
There is zero reason for anybody to invest in todays StarBond. Post (none event) adjust the Uber ports might invest in this as either a long of short term play. With 90+% of movies delisting lower then his current tag this is an easy short for what year or decade this guy gets his next movie in. He's done a indi movie, a modestly successful horror movie and if you read the press a less then impressive handling of his Twilight movie sounds like the studio was less then impressed.
The idea that an actor/actress that signs to a series needs more then just the series to get an IPO might have held water at one point but now all the major and likely to recur minor actors are signed to multi movie deals on tentpole movies. You knew that sooner of later the Potter kids would sign to another movie (D.Mac's resoning to keep this weeks IPO). So being in 3 or 4 of the biggest movies ever wasn't good enough to get an IPO. There biggest problem was a) working between movies and b) being minors it was up to the parents to ok a new projects. It seems like these parents wanted their kids to have a more normal life outside the lights. So basically the players sat on the sidelines while after James Bond the largest grossing recent series opened movie after movie. But they have all signed on to other non-Potter movies.
And yet we haveover 55 StarBonds trading at sub $5.
KCAVA IPOed in 2006 and has never adjusted and has only one movie on her bond page (so still no adjust), and no tag. The movie has wrapped and according to the IMDb has already shown on Canadian TV. Even if it doesn't go STV she still doesn't adjust and I expect he tag to drop to somewhere around $.01. If it goes to STV she is on the bucket list and ohh wait she still delists at current price as she has no tag.
She has done relatively speaking nothing else, she has starred in nothing (MTV stars seem to have a special place). I doubt casting directors even know who she is. Delist her already, she is a waste of space on the exchange. Can't wait for Jersey Shores star Snooky to get a movie and IPO.
Razor and I ere discussing other starbonds a few months ago and maybe he can help me here because I forgot there names. But they were IPOed with only one movie in their filmography. That puts you someplace on the (delist) D-List.
I don't understand that when this weeks StarBond lost his second movie D.Mac didn't just move up next weeks starbond to this week. It's not like there aren't enough none performing bonds on the exchange already.
HSX needs to post a set of requirements needed to get a starbond. It seems depend pretty much on a whim now.
