Mostly, I do't watch much current television. Most TV is garbage. I'll wait for the buzz to build on a show before getting into it.
The last new show I really watched from the start was Lost. Mostly I pick up boxsets and marathon through shows in a few days. Bear in mind that an hour long show is less than 45 minutes without the commercials, so I can watch 1/4 of a season of something like Breaking Bad in three hours, a season in four or five days. About three months ago I started with the 2005 Doctor Who and and up to date now. Same with Breaking Bad. I have a ton os tuff on DVR that I want to catch up on, but the key is avoiding the commericals.
