Observing the future.
Each one of us follow a different path that gets us from one point in time to another. Along my path, I tend to have stepping stones. These stones are like bread crumbs left along the course. I believe there are countless others who do the same thing, but have yet to notice. One example is the College Student that chooses a course major, (stepping stone) and follows the course taking classes (bread crumbs) designed to achive the educational standards of that major. By creating a stepping stone, the student lays down his bread crumbs that leads him to the future objective. Though he may not observe the future, he does imagine it.
Today, I can see a few glipses of my future. I have place stepping stones and laid the bread crumbs. There are only a few ways, my future as I see it, will not come to bear fruit. Death and imprisonment. Imprisonment may be one in a legal sense, or of a physical impairment of health issue. Death, is obvisously a future we all tend to see, and though we may take precautions to delay it, it is almost certain, we all reach this milestone.
I like stepping stones. They open up a positive venue. They are things and events that I can look forward to. For the last 20 years or so, they are a must. While I do not strive for professional success, I often enjoy the personal kind. I like to travel. I enjoy seeing places and getting to know them well. Without this love, I would be sedate.
It's possible That I was not intended to win this powerball drawing. My near future as I see it is set. It has been from March 18th and was extended July 17th. I have two trips planned one for New Years in Yellowstone National Park. And another trip to Vegas in March for the first week of March Madness. There is also a plan to visit Zion National Park the day before returning home.
This brings me to the conclusion of this story. A future that involves winning the lottery has several states that are connected. One of those state's is euphoria. Euphoria can be strong enough to clear away that background radition and noise that blocks the view of this particular future. It is in this state of euphoria where you might expect observation without change.
