Who Tried What Last Week? (me - Pepsi 1893 Original Cola: C+, 1893 Ginger Cola: D-, Mt Dew Black Label: D-)

1893 original: not quite like pepsi, more like RC cola with a splash of root beer. Less acidic and fizzy than Pepsi. It doesnt have the same pleasure value that youd want in a cold sugary refreshment. I didnt get to try it as a mixer but it may have potential there and thats what Pepsi is kinda going for. No one goes to a bar and orders Jack and Pepsi, but maybe Jack and '93 could become a thing. So I do want to give it a try with whiskey, but as a standalone drink, its not something I would give up regualr Pepsi for
1893 Ginger: Pepsi and Vernors, sorta, which isnt really too unpleasant. the problem is a severe nutty undertone. not being a nut fan, this is a really off-putting taste
mt dew black label: wine spritzer or wine cooler-esque drink. take all the zest out of a regular dew, add in some watered down grape juice, add a hefty dose of sadness and you get black label.

I saw the 1893 Pepsi but haven't tried it yet. I am assuming that it is far less acidic than a Coke Classic correct? podon Apr 18, 10:34
its same amount of sugar per serving as pepsi and coke and probably the same amount of acidity, but it does feel less sweet and acidic {nm} islander Apr 18, 10:53
