Let's see: Could The Beatles perhaps have had all 10 songs off of any of their first several albums take the top 10 spots on the Hot 100?
Of course. But
it didn't work that way. The artists released SINGLES. Single songs were promoted, and purchased via 45's. if they'd been able to simply put the whole record out and the tracks downloaded to buy or listen to, rest assured, they would have already done this.
Let's see: All of Michael Jackson's Thriller? That would have been easily capable of doing the same thing.
The Eagles Greatest Hits? Gee, I wonder.
Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack? Seriously?
This "history" is just plain stupid. Like so much of contemporary pop culture "history".
