Is my Percentile

I'm currently ranked 6,429. There are currently 222,903 players based on the leaderboard, going all the way to page 2,229. While my profile says I'm in the 96.7 Percentile, shouldn't I be 97.1? My math: 1-(6429/222903) = .971158blahblah which would be 97.1%.
