First off I want to say THANK YOU to Jeffbacon. He has been working hard on the improvements and bug fixes. I've done similar work in the past and know that one of the hardest parts of it is communication with the users. He has been very good about keeping us informed and responding to our feedback. I think he deserves a round of applause for that.
For this next bit I have to get on my soapbox. *steps on soapbox* As I said communication with the users is important and that goes both ways. We should be polite and clear with Jeff (hope its alright to call him that) in our reports and feedback. Angry "Why did this happen?" type posts are not helpful. In addition to being unclear and taking more time to determine what exactly the problem is, they are demoralizing for the person doing the work. Trying to work with them rather than complaining at them gets better results. I know we have emotions invested in the game. Just take a minute and a couple of deep breaths to remember it is just a game. A SOCIAL activity, so please remain socialable. I'm sure it would help Jeff if when reporting an issue we try to include specifics. Browser and OS, an excerpt from your Trade History if relevant, where exactly the issue or display is. Lets do our part to help keep HSX going and improve it by keeping it a friendly place.
*steps off soapbox* That's all I wanted to say other than to again say, Thank you Jeff.
