For instance, I bought the Halloween Ends (HALW5) stock and it was doing really good. However, today (Saturday October 15) the stock plummeted (Down H$3.52 at time of this writing) despite the fact the box office for the movie so far is 20 million dollars for a Friday. You'd think that with such success people would buy more of the stock. Does the box office not play a factor in the stock price or is it strictly by the amount of people that buy or short a stock? If that is the case, then why do movies that dont report box office always delist at H$0.00? What am I missing here?
