This really only for day trading trends tho, right?
I mean you don't need to flip if you're 'value' investing per se. You buy in or get out based on real news. For that I don't think anyone minds two clicks. It's not like the market moves so fast you'll get crushed for a few points while you're selling and then shorting.
I think the problem is it would contribute to more intraday swings without really adding and value to the inherent pricing of the securities. I mean, it'd rock for day traders, but it would mess with HSX's ability to use the data. The volatility would be way higher.
