Set during the Mexican-American War, One Man's Hero is the epic true story of Irish-American sergeant John Riley, who helped his troops desert the U.S. Army.
Riley, played by Tom Berenger, was the leader of St. Patrick's Battalion, a group that had suffered bigotry at the hands of the U.S. government, and which eventually took sides with Mexico.
One Man's Hero also stars Patrick Bergin, Joaquim de Almeida and Daniela Romo.
Lance Hool directs the film, which was written by Milton S. Gelman.
