Description

CBS Films will make a feature version of the TV series Gunsmoke. The show, which had the longest run from 1955-1975, centered on Marshal Matt Dillon who lived in a frontier Kansas town during the 1870s. He was aided by Doc Adams and tavern owner Miss Kitty Russell. Brad Pitt and Ryan Reynolds are being eyed for the lead roles. Gregory Poirier scripts the adaptation.
