Dustin Hoffman directs and stars in the legal thriller Personal Injuries. The feature film is based on the legal novel written by Scott Turow. In the book, attorney Robbie Feaver, agent Evon Miller, U.S. Attorney Stan Sennett, and Justice Brendan Tuohey are the characters whose lives drive the story. Sennett uncovers Feaver's bribery of several judges in order to win favorable judgements. To pin-point the center of the city's legal corruption, Sennett uses Feaver to get to Tuohey. The investigation leads to a massive sting operation centered on the corrupt presiding judge of common law claims, Brendan Tuohey.
