Return to Neverland is the sequel to the 1953 Disney animated classic Peter Pan . The film has has a troubled history and at one point was set to be a straight to video release. Then Disney announced in March 2001 that Peter Pan 2: Return to Neverland will indeed make a theatrical release in 2002.
