Terror strikes an abandoned insane asylum in the thriller Session 9. The film explores true primal fear along the lines of such films as The Shining and The Thing. David Caruso is the lead role, in addition to the ensemble cast including Josh Lucas (The Weight of Water), Peter Mullan (The Claim), and Brendan Sexton III (Boys Don't Cry).
The film is directed by independent filmmaker Brad Anderson, whose recent films include Happy Accident and Next Stop Wonderland. MTV's Total Request Live host Carson Daly serves as music supervisor.
