Description

Based on the true story of paraplegic Mark O'Brien, The Surrogate stars John Hawkes as a polio victim who lives in an iron lung, paralyzed from the neck down. He hires a sex surrogate played by Helen Hunt to take his virginity. The film is written and directed by Ben Lewi.
