Following the success of 1998's Rush Hour, Touchstone Pictures snagged Jackie Chan for Shanghai Noon, a western that will be the Hong Kong actor's U.S. follow-up to his first American hit film. Chan plays a Chinese Imperial Guard who must travel to the Old West in order to track down the Emperor's kidnapped daughter. The action comedy also features Lucy Liu and Owen Wilson, and is directed by Tom Dey.
