The 1941 Alfred Hitchcock film Suspicion will be remade by Dimension Films. Based on the Frances Iles book "Before the Fact", Suspicion details the story of a semi-paranoid woman who thinks her husband is out to kill her, driving her to the edge of taking her own life. She finally learns that her husband had no intention of killing her and she must now recover from her own drama. Michael Browning updates the screenplay and the film will be produced by Wendy Finerman and Ted Hartley. Philip Kaufman is attached to direct.
