John Carpenter’s 1980 film The Fog gets the remake treatment from Revolution Studios. A hundred years ago, a ship full of lepers perished off the coast of an isolated California town. The town’s founders used the eerie fog to deliberately prevent the ship from landing. A century later, the leper ghosts returned to exact revenge on the descendents of the founders. Cooper Layne will pen the updated version to be directed by Rupert Wainwright.
