This list is for entertainment purposes only; please don't let it make your blood boil! It is all just harmless fun (well, mostly.)

Fortunately for me, most of these movies have faded from memory. So I may not remember all the specifics of why I disliked these films, but I tried to include some general thoughts why.

Let's start at 10 and work our way to the worst:

10) Where The Wild Things Are (dir. Spike Jonze, 2009) I was excited for this, but did not like his take. Too gloomy, didn't like the voice acting, don't remember much else, just a feeling of how miserable I was after watching.

9) Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen (dir. Michael Bay, 2009) Robots with racist caricatures, John Turturro making robot testicle jokes, lots of stupid stuff. Now 3 and 4 I actually like though.

8) Wall-E (dir. Andrew Stanton, 2008) What?!? Pixar?!? Yes, it's true. Wall-E never grew on me (his arc felt forced and fake (My Fair Lady, really?). And the second half was a mess with it's disdain for humans (and ugly character designs too.) Sort of a big spit in the face from Pixar, if you ask me. (Honestly, Monsters University and Toy Story 3 could be here just as easily, but I don't want any trouble!)

7) Hulk (dir. Ang Lee, 2003) Forgettable now, just think his take was wrong. With this, Taking Woodstock, and The Ice Storm, Lee is my least favorite director.

6) Surrogates (dir. Jonathan Mostow, 2009) Terrible plot and plot logic, worse cgi, even worse acting from Mr. Phone It In Bruce Willis and Ms. :O Rosamund Pike. Brutal. Mostow almost made the list again with Terminator 3.

5) Redbelt (dir. David Mamet, 2008) I love Mamet (his film Spartan was considered for my best list) but I just remember how weird this whole thing was, and how bad I thought Ejiofor's performance was.

4) War Of The Worlds (dir. Steven Spielberg, 2005) Forgotten most of this, other than bad Tim Robbins and stuck in his basement.

3) Godzilla (dir. Gareth Edwards, 2014) Ugh. I love Godzilla, but there's this and then that Emmerich version (which is in my 10 worst ever list) which are just awful. More Godzilla and less stupid, tedious humans please!

Okay, so there are 8 films which are like, whatever. If you like them, that is okay. But these last two? I refuse to listen to anyone tell me they are good!

2) Funny Games (dir. Michael Haneke, 2007) Vile, disgusting, despicable. Zero entertainment value, but you will likely praise it's artistry. Don't tell me this is Art. Like, don't splatter sh-- in my face and call it a Jackson Pollack. I imagine the dvd commentary is just Haneke going "Ha ha ha, take this you stupid American audience pigs, ha ha ha" for two hours.

1) The Happening (dir. M. Night Shyamalan, 2008) Um? What? The worst directed film ever. Ed Wood would cringe at this directing. Okay, plants fighting back is not a bad idea, but when you have Humans. Outrunning. The Wind. I just can't even... (Also, the worst acted film ever (What is with Zooey's googly eyes?), but I blame M. Night.)

So there you go. Rememeber, Harmless Fun! Doing the worst list is hard. We try to forget the bad ones and remember the good ones. But if anyone has a worst, give it a go.

Please no death threats from you Pixar nuts fans. I do love everything else from them Cool
