Yeah. Netflix is great for stealing your soul stuff and robbing your will to live kind of stuff. Not sure how to describe it, but
I guess an example would be, when i got to Netflix right now, it's telling me I'm supposed to watching something called "Teenage Bounty Hunters".
I haven't heard or seen a single soul on here, talk one bit for the past 3 years about something called Teenage Bounty Hunters. So I have to decide whether i'm going to invest 6-8 hours of my life to this.
i love teen movies, coming of age stories.
Should I be watching Teenage Bounty Hunters? Last night I was Seven Samurai, so I could maybe use a lighter touch tonight.
Is that the pick for tonight?
I know that if I go to Rotten Tomatoes or a similar place, I already know there will be far, far fewer "critics" reviewing this thing and that it's not to be trusted. There will probably be half a dozen sites trying to ball wash Netflix that will tell me that this tv show is better than Heathers or Clueless. So going there isn't an option to find out the quality of this.
Has anyone watched this?
The funniest part of all this to me is, you'd think that Netflix will try to tailor stuff to me, basing suggestions on the kind of things I watch on there. So, perhaps, of all the things Netflix has to offer me, they're saying the single thing I should watch more than anything else, what's going to really rock my spot, is Teenage whatever it's called.
