Last weekend's champ Scream [SCRM5] dropped 59% from its opening to $12.4 million and second place. The horror sequel has earned $51.3 million.
Sing 2 [SING2] remained third overall with $5.7 million for a sum of $128.4 million.
Redeeming Love [RDMLV] opened in fourth place with $3.7 million. The romance skewed 79% females and 80% over the age of 25.
In its third outing, The 355 [355] took in another $1.6 million to advance its total to $11.1 million.
The King’s Daughter [MNSUN] debuted with $750K from 2170 theaters. The fantasy drew a crowd that was 54% female and 84% over 25.
Belle [BELE] tumbled 65% in its sophomore session to $550K, bringing its total to $2.74 million.
