Seek out good short-term gains (some high-profile IPOs can do that for you, as with playing the openers), and buy long-term high-profile stocks such as ones that will come out next summer etc. I'd tend toward the more short-term for you, considering that at the moment you may not have much playroom for long-term investments. StarBonds would also be a good option. Check out the adjusts for summer stocks coming up soon, and try to invest in those with good rates of return.
