I think I was just a little confused why I couldn't just buy a stock without first finding a seller.  I was thinking it was just like HSX. 

Can you break down the process of when an amount is set?  For a new IPO?  FOr example on Oct 13th several new movies are coming aboard... and it's my understanding that there is some sort of auction?
