Opening Weekend
Keep an eye on the tracking numbers (MTC, BTC, RS) and the estimates/projections that come out Friday night. Then play accordingly. But if you already play openers during the year, then you probably already know this stuff.
Delists
Kids movies (especially your Pixars & your animated features) are almost always delists longs. Understandable since the kids are going to the movies even on weekdays.
StarBonds
Be sure to play the StarBonds for the blockbusters ($100M or more). Movies that make $250M or more make the math especially easy, since you know the cutoff is at $250M.
Blockbuster Warrants
Don't forget these. Usually after a blockbuster's 2nd weekend actuals, Antibody decides on the strike price and adds the BW to the Calendar.
Finally, Box Office Mojo is your friend. It's a treasure trove of box office numbers - past & present. Good luck!
