There are no official "rules" about what can/cannot be tagged/posted on the HSX Boards. We can just learn from past posts about what is or isn't accepted by the moderator.
Just in general, almost any post that mentions a stock will cause traders to act and that will cause the price to go up or down. The things that usually taken down (called "scribbled" here) are usually worthless information that should not be posted.
Kinds of things that usually get scribbled:
Old News
Repeated News
Incorrect/Wrong/Outdated News
Misrepresented News
Calls To Action (posts telling players what to invest in... "Tom Cruise just joined that project so everybody should buy it right now"
Unreliable Source/Unreliable News
Things that are not news but have been taggged as news (most common are casual players asking questions or giving opinions about a movie project)
Posting about price movements
Things that are good to post/tag:
In general, tagging stocks is a way to let other players in the future read the history of a stocks news so they can make informed decisions when investing.
Casting
Production Start Dates
Release Dates
Trailers
Posters
Box Office Tracking
World Premiere Date
Distributor
Release Pattern
Theater Count
Weekend Box Office
Players responded to your scribbled post and gave you the reasons why you particular post was taken down.
You can revisit that thread (link) and read the replies.
RogerMore (very active and experieced player) hints that you tagged a stock while asking why its call and its put price BOTH were going up in price the day after IPO.
- casual player tagging a stock without any news (usually asking a question about that stock)
- talking about price movements
I imagine your post was something like
"Why did the Deadpool Call (tagged) go up $2 and the Deadpool Put (tagged) also go up $2?
