TGBRO Little door gods is a 11 900 000$ grossing china movie that is a cultural children movie that is being reworked with a High value voiceover cast (Nicole Kidman, Edward Norton etc).
Chinese Humor is NOT comprehensible to most north americans and have met with limited success.
We have gone that route a number of times in the movie industry (Princess Mononoke (1999) was a HIGHLY regarded Anime with a stellar voice cast. It grossed 2 375 000$.
TGBRO is currently valued at around 15$...
