"Seriously...do your research on this site and look it up yourself."
That was probably the best thing you have ever posted.
In the first post in this thread you said Oleg Max was fined $5 billion for trading with multiple accounts. (Do your research)
("Oleg Max hsx cheated" at google = 1st result: http://www.hsxdude.com/hsx-stuff/hsx-neighborhood-watch-2912-special-report )
In your response thread you said "First of all, what kind of screen name is that? 'MainPort'? Is that to suggest that you use other 'ports' to manipulate HSX to your advantage?" (Do your research) https://www.hsx.com/forum/forum.php?id=3&pid=332625
=================================================
Neil, you are lost. You have made several lengthy posts recently explaining how you approach the game and your strategies are outdated. It seems like you are using 2007 strategies for a part time player that is trying to play it safe. Your port size and number of stocks held and port growth do not reflect somebody who understands the game and plays daily.
Your accusations that players with larger ports are cheating are based on your misunderstandings of how the game works and what you think is really going on. I do not have time to teach you all the things that you are missing in this one post, but here are some thingys to get you thinking and maybe get you back on the right track:
-You mentioned that you do not make much profit on interest from on hand cash. You have 14.6 mill. I have 8.9 bill on hand cash and I currently make $305,300.65 interest daily (looking below... that is how much profit you average per week). I do play the Learn & Earn games and make another $20,000 daily (I get them all correct) and I play the poster game and sometimes make $50,000 from that.
-In other posts you talk about only partially investing in stocks and then investing in more shares as the price moves and you become more confident. If you have 10,000 shares and the price moves 1 point you make $10,000 If I have 100,000 max shares and the price moves 1 point then I make $100,000 It is better to have max shares so you make max profit.
-You mentioned how IPOs prices rise the first few days and then seem to drop. Some (few) players have a lot of money. Most players have a limited amount of money. I think the last calculation was that it would take around 4bill to be able to invest in every stock in the game at the same time and most players are well below that amount. Their funds are tied up in OW stocks for this coming weekend, for upcoming starbond adjusts, for stocks that had recent news, etc. Many times the smaller ports have to 'dump' other stocks to free up money to buy new ones. Wonder Woman 2 IPOed at $200. Interest would cost $200,000 for max shares. It would cost roughly $420,000 interest for a player to buy Wonder Woman at $200 (200k interest) and ride it up to $220 and dump it (220k interest). Riding it up 20 pts at max shares = 2mill profit... yay. Oh, look Wonder Woman is currently past $220. Smaller ports dump everything and buy as many shares as their port allows and they make money. Then they must dump Wonder Woman 2 in order to free up cash for the next thingy... like starbond adjustments for Tuesday. So they buy Wonder Woman 2 on Saturday, the price goes up on Sunday, the price goes up on Monday, and Monday morning they dump it to free up cash for Tuesday starbond adjusts, and Wonder Woman 2 starts to go down because many ports have to do this. This is why IPOs go down, 'crash', a few days after growth.
-Having a diverse port has no value. You need to lay down railroad track. What is making money today? (the movie that just released a trailer; a release date announced; director/cast just announced; movie opening this weekend; starbonds adjusting this week; starbonds adjusting next week; etc...) You invest and get the money that is available today, and then you start working on the money that is available tomorrow, then the next day, then the next week, then the next week, then the next month, etc... Your money (investments) should always be making you money. You should only invest in thingys that are going to make you money (like a business).
-You posted that you do not invest short in stocks at HSX. Shorting is half of the game. Prices are prices. If you think the stock will do more than the current price you buy. If you think the stock will make less than the current price you short. That is how you play the game. A Starbond is dropping Avengers $250 for a limited release $2 so you short that starbond and make a profit as the price goes down (and eventually adjusts down). If a movie OW is priced at $125 and you think it will only do $100 then you short and are rewarded if you are correct.
-You made a big point about grory. (Do your research) Kaigee.com has historical charts you can use. grory was a hardcore reset trader (I think she invented it) and she also discovered several key strategies before many other players and she made way more money than the players of her time.
In December 2015 when grory went inactive, her port was at 21.1 bill
Oleg Max (who recently caught up to grory) in December 2015 was at 17.3 bill
Roughly the average top tier player can do 1 bill per year. The above average top tier players have started doing 1.5 bill per year. 21.1 bill - 17.3 bill = 3.8 bill gained by Oleg Max to catch her in just under 2 years.
The around 2,000 stocks that grory currently has in her port are likely mostly starbonds which jump up and down and probably even out over time. Also, there are many stocks at HSX that were IPOed before 2015 when she went inactive that are still listed at the exchange that she is probably still holding:
Fantastic Voyage (FVOYG) IPOed 4/19/02
The Flash (FLASH) IPOed 12/22/04
Shazam! (SHAZM) IPOed 4/17/03
Justice League (JLEAG) IPOed 5/10/07
Venom; Alita Battle Angel; Blade Runner 2; Top Gun 2; Masters Of The Universe; Star Wars: The Last Jedi; Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle; Jungle Cruise; Black Panther; Ready Player One; The Incredibles 2; Ant-Man and the Wasp; Mamma Mia 2; Aquaman; etc...
Lets just play numbers:
your port is 174,894,551 mill over roughly 10 years (and you say you play daily)
= 17,489,455 mill per year (rough average)
= 1,457,454 mill per month (rough average)
= $364,363 per week (rough average)
=$52,051 per day (rough average)
You make 17.5 mill per year... last week 9 players made more than that for the week (link) (2 of RotoHockeys ports made the top ten!)
You need to update your strategies and learn the parts of the games that you are missing so you can be making the profits that you should be making.
