With the rise in interest rates to 1.75%, the day is coming where it will start to make more sense to go All Cash vs. risking it in the market. Granted, this strategy only makes sense for billionaires who find it hard to move the needle because of the cap on the number of shares you can purchase and the lack of blockbuster movies.
Nothing to ponder right now, but once it crosses the 2.50% - 3.00% mark, I know that I'll seriously be considering an all cash position. With $7B in funds, it'll be easier to make $575,343/day risk free than working for it. Maybe couple that with bond trading and I might be able to clear $750k - $1m a day nearly risk free.
