It depends on the size of your port and your sensitivity to loss.
Personally and currently anything less than a million I don't worry about. More than a million I look for the news that I missed. More than a couple million then I start looking at my losing stocks to see what's wrong. Otherwise *shrug* bad days happen. This game is a marathon, not a sprint.
