If you are playing openers (which I'm a big fan of) I would stick to playing openers that are opening WIDE, and not limited (like 500DS) as limited movies do not adjust. If you play movies opening wide, you stand on making much more $$ than playing those that are limited. While you may not be able to buy MAX shares of movies opening wide, you can certainly buy as many as you can.
When my port was small, I bought as many shares of an opening movie as I could each week. Back then, we couldn't even short a movie, like we can now. Sure, you stand to lose a lot if you pick'em wrong, but if you pick'em right - you can make more $$ in 2 days than you probably can in a week.
Picking a movie like BRUNO and playing it right will make you much more than playing a movie like 500DS. Playing openers is one of the fastest ways to build your port, and I would try to play the openers every week - but play the ones opening WIDE, as they offer you the best chance to make a lot of $$ if you pick them right. But, remember, you DO stand to lose big if you pick'em wrong (and I've done that plenty of times - even now) but you will build your port faster than just about any other way of playing...
Low risk = low gain, so do your research on openers, see what the 'buzz' on a movie is, see if they have lots of ads running, and go with your gut sometimes....
