I am aware that HSX has designated ERC (exhibitor Relations Co.) as its authoritative source of record. However,

their fees of several hundred dollars per year for each of their various services is out of reach of most HSX account members.
There is a need to access a reliable database without that sort of expense. Boxofficemojo seems to fill that role WITHOUT FEES for the information most relevant to our needs. (There are additional databases available through them for various costs, but they have little or no relationship to the typical HSXer's needs.)
During the past couple of years, there was a period when ERC suspended its services. HSX was left to seek another source of reliable data and boxofficemojo was chosen to be the alternate - certainly a vote of confidence in their product. And I have seen other experienced and respected HSXers refer to "bom" (boxofficemojo) figures from time to time.
An additional note about the site's provenance and reach: Boxofficemojo is a spin-off of imdb.com, a very well-known and long established information site regarding all-things-movies for many years. The boxofficemojo site specializes in box office history of movies put offers links to other imdb data for those who want/need it.  Imdb started as a British company in 1990, came online in 1993 and has been owned by Amazon since 1998, so it is a very established, stable and well-financed operation.
I have been using that site to find data before it becomes available on HSX and have always found it to be reliable, accurate, and easy to navigate. AND IT'S FREE!! So, I plan to continue using it (with the understanding that it is not quite HSX official) and to recommend that others do too.

When the update kaigee website mike255 Jun 21, 22:21

Good question. It used to be weekly updates, but has become less frequent of late and somewhat irregular. Updates are almost always on project Jun 22, 17:36

Can someone explain the VMORT projection on the website? Not seeing how the adjustment should increase to $18.95 {nm} JayPrimetown Jun 23, 20:20

I see... Starbonds are determined by the full film gross, not the delist price. Green Book had an extended run after it delisted. {nm} JayPrimetown Jun 23, 20:22

That's often true for many of the past films in a bond's TAG calculation. Once a film's stock delists, project Jun 23, 20:43

Project, I'm not sure what you are trying to say but here's some information inside DTravel Jun 23, 21:04

HSX only uses BO reported to ERC. If you are looking Box Office up at another site that would explain the difference. {nm} DTravel Jun 24, 21:16
