I can't seem to have a bad day (knock on wood). Well, maybe one or two in a couple of weeks. I'm usually not too active at trading.

Contrary to those suggesting shorter term strategy, I think long-term holdings are key. Uh, as long as you're holding most of them the right way... it's constant cash flow. I mostly keep an eye on the daily top and bottom dozen or two movers, and ignore the rest of my 1500 stocks. I may sell off partial holdings, or turn some around. But, it doesn't pay to obsess over every stock moving the wrong direction.

Think about this: if you could hold 750 stocks at full position, and they averaged a 10 cent gain on the day, you're looking at H$5.6 Million gain! OK, so you can't afford that much stock. The point is that small movements can make a LOT of money. Or, as some of you may be seeing... can lose you a LOT of money.
