To brag of indulgence of the thriller genre in literature (if I may be so bold to call it literature) is tantamount to bragging of indulgence of penny dreadfuls.

Originating from the United Kingdom I believe your position in this tirade would have been more successful had you brought up such writers as Joyce, Yeats, or Beckett, although at this point in timeĀ  I would be surprised if you happened to be acquainted with such literary geniuses.

dont let cruise ruin lee childs novels mikethunder Jul 04, 11:12

You're talking about a series of books that almost no one has heard of.. sorry, this is a losing battle. {nm} MiyazakiFan Jul 04, 11:13

i guess being english means i do read further than a burger menu mikethunder Jul 04, 11:16

Is that suppose to be an insult to Americans? On the 4th of July no less? {nm} Nightfury82 Jul 04, 11:19

Oh sorry kind sir, i do forget myself sometimes. blaze223 Jul 04, 11:24

Lee Childs will teach me how to read past the burger menu? Dude, the war ended a long time ago. Get over it. {nm} Nightfury82 Jul 04, 11:40

Sorry nightfury what i meant was by reading the books of lee child you would understand why i am so anti cruise for this role. blaze223 Jul 04, 12:00

That's fine I can understand that. But the "burger menu" comment was unecessary. {nm} Nightfury82 Jul 04, 12:02

Does being English (British?) mean you also don't use punctuation and capitalization? {nm} Paul2k Jul 04, 11:22

Hmm...that came out sounding petty instead of silly...sorry for the crap joke. {nm} Paul2k Jul 04, 11:30

"The cannibal was walking through the jungle when he stopped to pass his worst enemy." BionicMoron, Future EAP God Jul 04, 11:41

To be truthful, his grammar, insult, and the fact he's likening pulp fiction to literature, deserves all kinds of sarcastic commentary. DomoI Jul 04, 22:41

hey!...we also like pizza menus! {nm} tealfan Jul 04, 11:27

Grow up. {nm} Juiced Jul 04, 11:36

Rather be known for eating than having busted up teeth....seriously, do u guys only have 3 dentists over there? {nm} alfpaul Jul 04, 11:34
