I finished reading John Barrow's book "The book of universes" a couple of weeks ago, and he discussed a cosmologist who argued for implicit relationships between very very large numbers.  Larger than these.  Can't think of the cosmologist's name.

if these numbers hold true BrilliantMovieGuy has brought about a new way of tracking. it's really very cool if you think about it. {nm} lobogotti Jul 29, 17:46

yes, but if they represented minimums that would be impressive and very useful. interesting read indeed. {nm} lobogotti Jul 29, 17:53

Paul Dirac, who developed the "Large Numbers Hypothesis." {nm} second gary Jul 29, 18:12

very nice. many of you guys use much better data than what I use. {nm} lobogotti Jul 29, 18:25

I'm curious what you look at? If you don't wish to share, I def understand. I try to consider all sources but it causes me to overanalyze ShawnMR Jul 29, 18:28

TFRM3 is at 60,137 user reviews...but it was at the same number days before its release. Nightfury82 Jul 29, 18:19

Flixster has had issues with updating some totals, which make some comparisons difficult unfortunately. {nm} ShawnMR Jul 29, 18:22

true. this week it just really worked out well. i always look at those numbers but never calculated them that way before. {nm} lobogotti Jul 29, 18:23

Its really interesting, I've been working off of ratios similar to what Alex does with Twitter. Figuring in 3D when appropriate, too. Once ShawnMR Jul 29, 18:38

I would be interested to look upon them if you do. {nm} lobogotti Jul 29, 18:51

Great. I think it should be a more accurate indicator than twitter if a good database were collected, less noise in the data {nm} BrilliantMovieGuy Jul 29, 19:17

What rankings/numbers are you using from Flixster? The want to see numbers? The ratings once it opens? {nm} HarryWarden Jul 29, 21:30
