The Grey: B. Older movies in IM
Out of Sight (1998): B-
Key Largo (1948): B (a little disappointed by this based on the cast, director, and reputation. Good stuff, though.)
The Night of the Iguana (1965): C (didn't really do it for me at all. It had some moments and the characters were fairly interesting, but I think it was ultimately a bit too over the top stagey for me, which makes some sense since it was based on a play.)
The Wild Bunch (1969): B- (A pretty good film, but I didn't really think it lived up to its reputation. On the other hand, I'm not a huge westerns person in general, and I've also never really been able to connect to a Peckinpah movie, so I wasn't surprised that I didn't love it.)
Bad Day in Black Rock (1955): A- (Great little film that I hadn't even heard of before it came on TCM and I happened to watch it. Very short with not a character or scene wasted.)
The Sea Hawk (1940): B+ (Fun adventure film directed by Michael Curtiz and starring Errol Flynn. They of course also directed/starred in 1938's Adventures of Robin Hood, but to be honest I preferred this movie to that one, despite the fact that that one is far more famous.)
