If you put the stock name in brackets, whatever is posted also shows up on the page of that security, using the bracket name -more-
is called "Tagging" so when you look at a movie or starbond page, anything tagged willl show up in the lower right, thus impacting peoples buy/sell decisions.
Posting without the brackets doesn't put the information on the page of the related security, and is typically OK.
The other thing that can't be directly posted about is "Buy/Sell <insert security here>", which "tagging" ends up having the same effect of doing.
