Sorta depends on where you are cast along the human centipede, doesn't it?

Posted by: DTXbro (a.k.a SenJohnBlutarsky) on Oct 19, 17:59 in response to forlorne's post Starring in human centipede is hitting bottom.

Somebody, to be sure, has to be at the bottom of the centipede.  But someone else gets to be at the top of the centipede.

V: [NCAGE] to star in Left Behind reboot (And that's the sound of hitting the bottom) Antibody Oct 19, 13:14

Where's that Sir Michael Caine quote when you need it? {nm} DTravel Oct 19, 13:18

Potential IPO: Nick Cage in talks to star in my student class presentation {nm} dioneta Oct 19, 13:19

NCAGE still has to pay $4mill to the IRS... he is almost done (he paid them $6mill last June) {nm} RazorHawk Oct 19, 13:19

so starring in a Christian movie is "hitting the bottom"? {nm} Oleg Max Oct 19, 13:28

I would agree that this film would seem to actually have a built-in audience, unlike many of Cage's recent "efforts" {nm} BSmurf Oct 19, 13:33

Do you see any other A-list or even B-list actors appearing in Christian films? MGIBS had to produce his own. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 13:33

so what? starring in NMPHO is the definition of hitting the bottom. Oleg Max Oct 19, 13:36

Ah no, not accrding to Hollywood. Von Trier is an auteur that atrracts talent. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 13:40

maybe. but you still can't say or imply that staring in Christian movie is hitting the bottom. its offensive! {nm} Oleg Max Oct 19, 13:43

Starring in human centipede is hitting bottom. {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 13:45

I laughed. {nm} Capitals Oct 19, 13:52

Are them making a movie based on the hit video game Centipede? {nm} elchan Oct 19, 13:52

Is that an IPO idea? {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 13:54

I like that Michael Jackson song! {nm} RazorHawk Oct 19, 13:57

I can't believe this thread has been going for so long with no mention of Uwe Boll! {nm} RogerMore Oct 19, 14:46

Sorta depends on where you are cast along the human centipede, doesn't it? DTXbro Oct 19, 17:59

Playlist: " Antibody Oct 19, 13:46

"the only thing left behind after this will be Cage's career." Most of blogosphere will share the same sentiment. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 13:47

The blogosphere isn't going to pay Nic Cage's tax bill for him. I'm guessing avoiding prison is higher on his priority list than reputation. {nm} Capitals Oct 19, 13:49

Exaclty, he's doing it only for the money. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 13:51

i don't care about most of blogoshpere. still waiting for your apology. you can't jump on other people when they say something Oleg Max Oct 19, 13:50

Movie critics agree that the Left Behind movies are poorly made. I didn't say anything offensive about Chrisitanity. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 13:54

I know what you said and you know what you implied: Left Behind is a Christian movie and starring in it is "hitting the bottom" is it not Oleg Max Oct 19, 14:00

well; it's not exactly aiming for cinematic heights now is it. {nm} goodvibe61 Oct 19, 18:04

Come on Oleg Max the original film grossed a lifetime $4.2m which is a 'bottom' potential for Cage. DMac didn't say anything offensive IMHO {nm} grammar Oct 19, 13:51

grammar, it was offensive to me. {nm} Oleg Max Oct 19, 13:54

+1 Don't want to offend Muslims, but Christians, no problem. Typical liberal mentality. {nm} hawkfanatic2 Oct 19, 14:49

James Caviezel. Tilda Swinton. Liam Neeson. James Mcavoy. Catherine Hardwicke.Jack Guzman. Need more?? {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 13:53

CWWRB isn't a Fantasy, not a Christian movie. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 13:58

I meant LWWRB is a fantasy film. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 13:59

That's silly, a film can be both, and all the Chronicles are. Veggie Tales are animated fantasy, but Christian movies. {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 14:01

And that very quick partial list includes other movies as well. Your statement re A or B list actors was incorrect {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 14:02

The Christian films I meant are those contemporary inspiration films produced independently, not the historical biblical epics. Antibody Oct 19, 14:07

Ah. So by christian films you really mean inependently produced, low budget christian films. why isn't being in ANY forlorne Oct 19, 14:15

Fair or not, mainstream Hollywood believes there's a stigma to those films. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 14:19

how is that relevant to your saying no a or b list actors appear in xian films? {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 14:44

How is it not relevant? Agents won't let their A or B actors star in these movie or they might not get a Hollywood film again. {nm} Antibody Oct 19, 15:00

While hollywood might LIKE to attach a stigma to it, the 2 lists I provided say otherwise. Are those actors stigmatized? {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 15:52

Look under "Christian films" at Box Office Mojo. {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 14:04

Peter O'Toole. Omar Sheriff.John Rhys-Davies.Idris Elba.Dermot Crowley.Christopher plummer.Robin Lively.Michael bolton. More? {nm} forlorne Oct 19, 14:12

Does anyone doubt this is going to be a narrowcasting project and a low-quality production (for a Nic Cage filrm)? DTXbro Oct 19, 18:05
