Has there ever been any news? I guess the answer is that people would rather see the courtroom drama of FLIGH or the Civil Rights struggles of the mid 50's in THELP, or the machinations to get the 13th amendment passed, in ABE, rather than the story that would have been told in CRSDR.
All it takes is a script and a few million real bucks, and at worst you have a TV movie.
Too bad, so sad. That is life in Hollywood.
